ABBA: The Museum is a permanent exhibition in Stockholm devoted to the Swedish pop group ABBA, opened in 2013. It is located on the island of Djurge5rden and forms part of Stockholm’s museum district.
The museum presents costumes, gold records, stage sets and multimedia exhibits. Several hands-on installations let visitors perform with holograms or mix songs using original recordings, and the exhibition covers the band’s career across multiple rooms and themed displays.
The museum was created by the founding organisation behind the ABBA brand and opened after years of planning to preserve and present the band’s legacy. It operates as a modern, interactive museum rather than a traditional archive or collection.
Sited on Djurge5rden, the museum is close to the Vasa Museum and Skansen, within central Stockholm and easily reached by public transport from the city centre.
