How to Get to Loboc#
Loboc (central Bohol) is a short drive from Tagbilaran and is normally visited by land from Tagbilaran or after a ferry from Cebu. Local jeepneys and shared vans are the cheapest ways to reach the town; taxis and private hires are faster and more comfortable.
Tagbilaran-Bohol-Panglao International Airport (TAG): The main airport for Bohol province. From Tagbilaran city the road trip to Loboc is about 25-40 minutes by car or jeepney. Taxis and shared vans are available; expect taxi fares roughly PHP 300-600 and shared-vehicle fares lower.
Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB): International flights commonly arrive into Cebu; from Cebu take a ferry to Tagbilaran (1.5-2.5 hours depending on vessel) then land transport to Loboc. Ferry fares vary by vessel type, typically PHP 200-600.
Bus / Jeepney: Local jeepneys and buses run between Tagbilaran and Loboc; travel time about 20-40 minutes and fares are very inexpensive (PHP 20-80). Shared vans (V-hire) provide a faster option at slightly higher cost.
Train: There is no train service on Bohol - land travel relies on buses, jeepneys, taxis and private cars.
How to Get Around Loboc#

- Jeepney / local bus (PHP 20-80) - Jeepneys are the cheapest and most local way to travel between Tagbilaran and Loboc and around Bohol. They are very inexpensive but stop often and may be slow for tourists with tight schedules.
- Shared van / V-hire (PHP 80-200) - Shared vans are faster than jeepneys and a good compromise between speed and cost for trunk routes across Bohol. They leave when full and are common between Tagbilaran, Loboc and nearby attractions.
- Taxi / private car (PHP 300-1,500) - Taxis and private drivers are convenient for door-to-door service, trips timed to river cruises, or for small groups. Negotiate fares in advance for day hires; hotel-arranged transfers are widely available.
