Talibon Travel Guide

Located on the northern shores of Bohol, Talibon is an up-and-coming Filipino community with a range of eco-tourism possibilities. The atmosphere is still quiet, but resorts are starting to emerge along the coast.

Fishing, agriculture and seaweed cultivation are major industries in Talibon. Tourists can enjoy the fishing-village atmosphere that permeates the white-sand beaches. Fresh seafood is a major commodity in the resort district.

Outdoor activities range from scuba diving to island-hopping. The Danajon Bank double-barrier reef is a fantastic site for divers, overflowing with colorful aquatic life. Another diving and snorkeling destination is Bongan Sandbar, an offshore stretch of white sand.

The Jayvee Long Beach Resort on the neighboring island of Mahaba is the major accommodation depot for Talibon. It boasts expansive beaches, ample facilities and mangrove forests.
