How to Get to Zhuojiacun
Zhuojiacun (listed under the parish Nossa Senhora do Carmo / Macau area) is reached by flights to Macau or by ferry/cross-border links from Hong Kong and Zhuhai. Macau's public buses and short taxi rides are the usual ways to reach neighbourhoods from the port or airport.
Macau International (MFM): Macau’s airport is the primary air gateway for the Macau parishes. From Macau Airport taxis take roughly 10-20 minutes to central parishes such as Nossa Senhora do Carmo (Taipa/Cotai area) with fares in the range of MOP 50-120. Public buses also serve airport-city routes with fares around MOP 3-6.
Hong Kong International (HKG) / Zhuhai (ZUH): If arriving via Hong Kong or Zhuhai, use ferry or cross-border taxi services to Macau then continue by local bus/taxi to the parish. Ferries from Hong Kong to Macau take ~55 minutes plus immigration time; add local transfer time to reach specific neighbourhoods.
Train: Macau does not have a conventional passenger rail network. High-speed rail links are via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge and the Hong Kong-Guangzhou high-speed services to nearby mainland stations; travel into Macau from Zhuhai/Guangzhou relies on bus/taxi/ferry connections.
Bus / Light public transport: Macau has an extensive public bus network serving parishes (including Nossa Senhora do Carmo) and the airport. Buses are cheap (MOP 3-6 typical) and frequent; taxis are quick and inexpensive for short hops around town.
