How to Get to Yoros Castle #
Yoros Castle sits above the village of Anadolu Kavağı on Istanbul’s Asian shore at the Bosporus entrance. A convenient way to reach it is by ferry from the European side (Eminönü or Beşiktaş) or from Üsküdar - Şehir Hatları and some private operators run ferries to Anadolu Kavağı; the village is then a short uphill walk of about 10-20 minutes from the quay to the castle ruins. By car or taxi it’s reachable from central Istanbul (Taksim/Sultanahmet) via the Asian shoreline roads (follow routes toward Beykoz/Anadolu Kavağı); the drive is roughly 25-35 km depending on start point and traffic.
