Yarkon Park

An extensive urban park running along the Yarkon River in the Tel Aviv District, serving as one of the city’s main green recreational areas.

Open lawns, shaded groves and riverside promenades offer space for walking, cycling, picnics and informal sports; paved paths run along much of the river corridor and link multiple recreational zones. The park contains planted gardens, playgrounds and designated areas for events and outdoor leisure.

The riverside corridor has been developed progressively over the 20th century into a municipal park system, with sections added and landscaped to serve a growing urban population. Management and facilities have evolved to support outdoor recreation and city events.

Situated along the Yarkon River within the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, the park stretches through parts of Tel Aviv and adjacent municipalities and is accessible from multiple city neighborhoods.
