Yankee Stadium is the home ballpark of the New York Yankees, located in the Bronx, New York City. The current stadium opened in 2009 on the site adjacent to the original 1923 ballpark and serves as the Yankees’ primary venue for Major League Baseball and other large events.

The ballpark contains museum displays, team history exhibits and Monument Park, which honors the franchise’s historic players and moments. The venue is also used for occasional soccer matches and concerts.

The modern stadium is located at 1 East 161st Street in the Bronx, immediately adjacent to the Yankee Stadium transportation hub and within walking distance of major subway and commuter rail services.
