Xianju National Park

Xianju National Park is a protected scenic area in Xianju County, Zhejiang province, China, noted for steep red sandstone cliffs and dramatic peaks associated with Danxia-type landforms. It is a regional scenic destination with a combination of cliffs, valleys and waterfalls.

The park features dozens of cliff faces, wooded valleys and river gorges with marked trails and cliff-top viewing platforms. Hiking routes and short stairway climbs connect viewpoints; there are also temple sites and small built viewing areas scattered through the scenic zone. Visitors typically use the main trail network to reach lookout points and waterfall terraces.

The landscape is primarily the result of long-term natural erosion of red sandstone; the area has been developed as a tourist scenic area with trails, stairways and visitor facilities to allow public access while protecting sensitive slopes. The scenic area has been managed at county and provincial levels to support tourism and conservation.

The park sits within Xianju County in Taizhou prefecture, in northeastern Zhejiang province, China. It occupies a mountainous, forested part of the county and is accessed from local roads serving Xianju town and surrounding communities.
