Wuyishan National Park protects the Wuyi Mountains in northern Fujian province, China, and encompasses steep river gorges, ridges, and a cultural landscape associated with tea cultivation. The area is recognised for both natural biodiversity and cultural heritage.

The park is known for scenic riverboat trips along the winding Jiuqu River, riverside trails, and viewpoints such as Tianyou Peak that offer panoramic views over steep gorges and tea terraces. Cultural highlights include historic temples and tea-growing areas associated with famous oolong teas.

• Reserve boat rides along the Nine-Bend River (Jiuqu) in advance during high season; they are the classic way to see the Wuyi landscape.
• Visit a tea garden and ask about Da Hong Pao - the famous oolong produced on Wuyishan's slopes - and time a tasting to late morning when the light and air are pleasant.
