A prominent mountain in eastern Shenzhen, Guangdong, whose highest point is the tallest within the Shenzhen municipal area at about 943 metres. It is a well-known local destination for hiking and nature recreation.
Multiple well-used trails of varying steepness lead to viewpoints and the summit, with panoramic views across Shenzhen, the Pearl River Delta and out toward Mirs Bay. The slopes are covered in subtropical forest, providing habitat for a variety of native plants and birdlife and a green escape close to the city.
The mountain is a natural feature long used by local residents for grazing, fuel gathering and as a vantage point; in recent decades it has been developed and managed for recreation and conservation as part of a protected scenic area and municipal park.
Located in eastern Shenzhen, Guangdong province, the massif sits within Shenzhen’s municipal boundary and is accessible from urban districts by road and trailheads near the city edge.
