Weissfluh is a mountain in the canton of Grisons (Graubünden) in eastern Switzerland, part of the Plessur Alps near the resort town of Davos. It forms part of the local alpine landscape used for recreation.
The area around Weissfluh is used for alpine recreation including marked hiking routes in summer and established ski terrain in winter, with viewpoints that look toward Davos and surrounding valleys. Trails and winter runs provide accessible alpine terrain for a range of abilities.
As a natural feature the peak has no constructed founding date; its slopes and ridges have been gradually developed for winter sports and summer hiking over the 20th century.
Weissfluh lies close to Davos in the Plessur Alps of Graubünden in eastern Switzerland, forming part of the high terrain above the town and visible from the Davos valley.
How to Get to Weissfluh #
Reach the Davos valley by train on the Rhaetian Railway (for example from Landquart); from Davos Platz the mountain lifts provide access to Weissfluh/Weissfluhjoch. The valley lift station in Davos is a short walk from the town/railway station and runs up toward the Weissfluh summit area via cable car/funicular.
By car: Davos is reachable by road from Landquart in about 40-60 minutes depending on conditions; once in Davos the lift valley station is within the town and an easy walk from the centre.

- Take the Weissfluhbahn cable car from Davos to reach the Weissfluhjoch area quickly - the lift gives panoramic views and saves a long ascent from town.
- Start early to catch clearer alpine vistas before the typical afternoon cloud build‑up; early departures also avoid the busiest lift times during summer and ski season.
- Beyond the summit station, follow the short ridge paths and marked trails - many hikers miss the easier plateau walks that offer wide views without technical climbing.
