Washoe Lake State Park

Washoe Lake State Park is a Nevada state park that protects Washoe Lake, adjacent wetlands and surrounding upland habitat east of the Carson Range. The park is used for water-based recreation, wind-driven sports, birdwatching and shoreline access.

Key visitor activities include camping at designated campgrounds, launching small boats and windsurfing on Washoe Lake, and wildlife observation in the marshes. Trails and shoreline areas provide short walks and vantage points for viewing waterfowl and raptors.
