How to Get to Vrsar#
Vrsar is a small coastal town on the western Istrian peninsula; Pula Airport (PUY) is the nearest airport. The town is most commonly reached from Pula or Rovinj by regional bus; there is no direct train service to Vrsar.
Pula Airport (PUY): Pula is the closest airport to Vrsar (Istria). From PUY you can take a shuttle or taxi to Pula bus station (about 20-30 minutes) and then a regional bus to Vrsar; total travel time is commonly 30-60 minutes.
Zadar / Rijeka: Rijeka and Zadar airports are alternatives but are farther away and typically mean a longer transfer by road to reach Vrsar.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Vrsar; the nearest railhead is Pula. From Pula, use regional buses to reach Vrsar.
Bus: Arriva Istria and local bus companies run regular services from Pula and Rovinj to Vrsar. Bus journeys are short (about 20-40 minutes from Pula or Rovinj) and fares are modest (a few euros). During summer schedules are more frequent.
How to Get Around Vrsar#
Vrsar is best reached from Pula by regional bus or by car. In summer bus frequency rises and boats provide pleasant coastal transfers; on foot is the best way to explore the town itself.
