How to Get to Visingsö #
Visingsö is reached by ferry from the town of Gränna on the eastern shore of Lake Vättern. Drive or take regional bus/train from Jönköping to Gränna (Jönköping is about 40-50 km south of Gränna by road), then walk to the Gränna ferry terminal and board the scheduled passenger and car ferries to Visingsö (the crossing is short, typically around 15-20 minutes). Once on Visingsö most destinations are reached on foot or by the island’s small local roads.

- Take the short ferry from Gränna (regular service in summer) rather than a longer drive; the ferry docks are in central Gränna so you can arrive and immediately start exploring on foot or by bike.
