How to Get to Vanj Range
Tajikistan’s Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region is reached via Dushanbe by road or internal flights to Khorog; from Khorog, travel by 4x4 into Vanj District and onward into mountain valleys. Local transport is infrequent and often weather-dependent.

- Altitude acclimatization is crucial; plan a gradual ascent with rest days above 3,000 m.
