How to Get to Valle de Bravo
Valle de Bravo is best reached by road from Toluca (TLC) or Mexico City (MEX), with Toluca offering the shortest transfer. There is no rail service to the town - intercity buses or private transfers from Toluca/Mexico City are the usual options.
Toluca International Airport (TLC): Toluca Airport is the closest major airport to Valle de Bravo (approx. 60-80 km depending on route), with a road transfer to Valle de Bravo typically taking about 1-1.5 hours. Taxis and private shuttles operate from Toluca to Valle; expect transfer prices to be higher than bus fares but faster and more comfortable.
Mexico City / Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX): Mexico City’s airport is another common entry point; from MEX the drive to Valle de Bravo is about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Some travellers prefer Toluca for the shorter transfer.
Train: There is no direct passenger rail service to Valle de Bravo; passenger rail in Mexico is limited for this region.
