How to Get to Valdés Peninsula
Peninsula Valdés is accessed from the coastal gateway towns of Puerto Madryn and Trelew. Most visitors base themselves in Puerto Madryn and reach different points on the peninsula by regional roads and tour vehicles; drive times vary by destination on the peninsula (many important sites are between about 60-150 km from Puerto Madryn) and regular excursion operators and regional buses run from Puerto Madryn.
