How to Get to Vaimoso
Vaimoso is a suburb of Apia on Upolu and is most conveniently reached from Faleolo International Airport (APW) by road. There is no rail; taxis, airport shuttles and local minibuses provide the usual onward transport.
Faleolo International Airport (APW): APW is Samoa’s main international airport and the usual entry point for visitors to Upolu, including Vaimoso near Apia. The drive from APW to central Apia/Vaimoso is about 30-40 minutes by car or taxi depending on traffic.
No closer international alternatives: APW is the island’s primary international gateway-arrivals connect to Apia and neighbouring villages by road transport.
Train: There is no passenger rail service in Samoa.
