How to Get to Vahdat
Vahdat is immediately east of Dushanbe and is most easily reached via Dushanbe International Airport (DYU) followed by a short road transfer. Marshrutkas and taxis provide frequent, low‑cost connections between Vahdat and Dushanbe's centre.

Vahdat lies just east of Dushanbe - the drive is typically about 20-40 minutes (roughly 20-30 km) depending on traffic; taxis and shared marshrutkas run the route and taxis cost a modest fare.
Kulyab / Kulob Airport (TJK regional options): For some domestic travellers there are regional airports in southern Tajikistan, but for Vahdat Dushanbe is by far the most practical and frequent arrival point; from Dushanbe use road transfer options to reach Vahdat.
Train: Tajik Railways has limited passenger rail services concentrated on a few routes; Dushanbe-Vahdat is primarily served by road rather than rail.
Marshrutka / bus: Frequent marshrutkas (shared minibuses) and local buses run between Dushanbe and Vahdat with short travel times (about 20-40 minutes). They are inexpensive, frequent and the usual way locals commute between the cities.

Vahdat is suburban to Dushanbe and is served by minibuses (marshrutkas), shared taxis and regular bus links into the capital; many local trips are walkable in town.
