Uthina (also referred to as Oudna) is an archaeological site in the Ben Arous Governorate of Tunisia preserving the remains of an ancient town with substantial Roman-period remains. The site contains the visible footprint of a Roman urban settlement including public buildings and infrastructure.
Surviving features across the excavated area include an amphitheatre, a forum and temple complex, public baths and street layouts with mosaic fragments and columnar remains. The most extensive occupation and building activity dates to the Roman imperial period from the 1st through the 4th centuries AD, with evidence of later reuse in Byzantine and medieval times.
Uthina lies beside the modern settlement of Oudna, to the west-southwest of central Tunis, and is reachable by road from the capital. Excavations and studies have been carried out sporadically from the 19th century to the present, and the site is presented as an open archaeological area with exposed foundations and ruins.
