Umm as Sāhik is a small coastal locality in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province; most international travellers arrive via King Fahd International Airport (DMM) in Dammam. There is no direct rail link to the town - arrivals generally transfer by road from Dammam or other regional hubs.

By Air

King Fahd International Airport (DMM): King Fahd International (DMM) is the main international airport for Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. From DMM you can reach towns in the Jubail/Ras Tanura corridor by intercity taxi or private transfer; expect a taxi or private car hire to cost roughly SAR 250-450 and take about 1.5-2.0 hours depending on traffic.

King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED): For some international connections travellers also use Jeddah (JED) and connect onward by domestic flight to Dammam (DMM) - domestic flights take ~1.5 hours; onward ground transfers from DMM are as above.

By Train & Bus

Train: Saudi Arabia’s long-distance rail network (SAR) does not serve small coastal towns directly in this part of the Eastern Province. The nearest intercity railhead for long-distance travel is Dammam station (connected to Riyadh) - onward travel from Dammam to coastal towns requires road transport.

Bus: Intercity bus companies (for example SAPTCO) operate routes around the Eastern Province that stop at major centres such as Dammam and Jubail. From Dammam or Jubail you can take regional taxis or prebooked transfers to nearby towns; bus fares between major hubs (e.g., Dammam-Jubail) typically range SAR 30-70 and take 1-2 hours, then add local taxi transfer time.
