How to Get to Umag#
Umag is easiest reached by road from nearby airports (Pula, Trieste, Rijeka) or by regional bus services. There is no direct train line into Umag, so buses or car/taxi are the normal last‑mile options.
Pula Airport (PUY): The nearest airport with regular scheduled flights. By road Pula to Umag is about 50-75 minutes; bus connections are available and journey times are typically around 1-1.5 hours. Bus fares are commonly in the €6-12 range; taxis cost more.
Trieste - Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport (TRS) / Rijeka Airport (RJK): Both are alternative options with longer drives (~1-1.5 hours) and shuttle/bus links into Istria; travel times vary by season.
