Tsawwassen Lands are the traditional territory and reserve lands of the Tsawwassen First Nation at the southern tip of the Tsawwassen peninsula in Delta, British Columbia.
The area includes community lands and developments adjacent to major regional infrastructure and has been subject to a modern treaty agreement that altered governance and land-use arrangements. The lands lie at the end of the peninsula near coastal shipping routes and ferry connections.
Tsawwassen First Nation negotiated and ratified a final agreement in 2009 that defined rights, governance and land ownership for the community. Since then the nation has managed community planning and economic development on its lands.
The lands sit on the southern Delta peninsula facing the Strait of Georgia, south of Vancouver and near the Canada-United States maritime boundary.

How to Get to Tsawwassen Lands #
Tsawwassen Lands are at the southern end of the Tsawwassen Peninsula, near the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. From Vancouver, take Highway 17 south to Exit 12A/12B toward Tsawwassen; local buses and ferries connect the area with Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
