AdventureAbout Exploring with Josh
Exploring with Josh is run by Josh, a solo explorer who started the channel on 2013-08-19. Since then it has grown to about four point eight million subscribers, more than six hundred thirty million views and nearly one thousand videos, with roughly five uploads per month. The channel focuses on investigative urban exploration and short documentaries that examine abandoned buildings, ghost towns, derelict theme parks and unusual ruins. Josh travels across the United States and abroad, visiting places like Japan, Syria, London and forgotten American towns, filming tense, narrative-led and often cinematic on-site investigations.
This channel turns derelict places into addictive mysteries. We enjoy the blend of hands-on, sometimes harrowing exploration with a documentary bent that actually shows what was left behind, not just scenic shots. Videos often feel cinematic and suspenseful, revealing vaults, yearbooks, creepy props and occasionally disturbing finds. It is ideal for viewers who want immersive urban exploration and investigative storytelling. Standout entries include "ABANDONED federal gold exchange BANK ( FOUND VAULT ) PART 1" and the Aokigahara Japan episode. Josh uploads regularly, so there is a steady stream of fresh, high-stakes discoveries to watch.
