AdventureCulture & PeopleAbout Eva zu Beck
Eva zu Beck began publishing on YouTube in February 2013 and has grown to nearly two million subscribers and about 194 million total views across more than 300 videos. She is an adventure presenter, director and host of the Nat Geo show Superskilled. Her channel features first-person expedition vlogs, survival runs, overlanding and cultural immersion pieces filmed in places like the Sahara, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Scotland and the United States. Videos range from mid-length vlogs to documentary-style episodes and often include on-the-ground storytelling and field camera gear.
If you want the raw, feral side of adventure travel, Eva delivers it. We find her channel reads like a modern expedition diary, equal parts survival challenge, emotional field report and cultural meeting. The best of her work pairs intimate stays with locals - for example the Maasai marriage story and Bedouin family episode - with solo endurance feats like running across the Grand Canyon and long Sahara crossings. She uploads frequently, roughly three videos a month, so there is usually a fresh expedition or personal update to watch.
