How to Get to Tolhuin
Tolhuin sits mid-way on the main road across Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego between Ushuaia and Rio Grande. Visitors commonly fly into Ushuaia or Rio Grande and continue by bus, private transfer or rental car to Tolhuin.
Ushuaia International Airport (USH): Tolhuin lies on the road between Ushuaia and Rio Grande; Ushuaia (USH) is the common arrival point for southern Tierra del Fuego. From Ushuaia its roughly 1.5 hours by road to Tolhuin depending on conditions.
Rio Grande Airport (RGA): Rio Grande also has an airport that serves the eastern part of the island; travel time from Rio Grande to Tolhuin is roughly 1 hours by road. Ground transfers are typically by bus, private transfer or rental car.
Train: There is no passenger rail service on Tierra del Fuego.
