Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull, is reached by flying into Glasgow (GLA) then taking the train or coach to Oban and the CalMac ferry to Craignure, followed by a short onward bus or taxi. Plan connections carefully - ferry and seasonal timetables determine travel windows.

By Air

Glasgow Airport (GLA): The most common airport for Tobermory. From Glasgow, take the train from Glasgow Queen Street to Oban (advance fares often £15-£30, 2.5-3.5 hours) then the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Oban to Craignure on Mull (foot passenger fares roughly £9-£12, 45 min). From Craignure a bus or taxi goes to Tobermory (bus ~£6-£10, 40-50 min; taxi ~£35-£60).

Inverness Airport (INV): An alternative if coming from the north; train or bus to Oban is longer (several hours) and usually involves a change. Flights to smaller regional airports give more options but add complexity and connections to reach Mull.

By Train & Bus

Train: The key rail route is Glasgow Queen Street - Oban (ScotRail). Trains take about 2.5-3.5 hours and advance fares can be cheaper if booked early (from ~£15). From Oban catch the CalMac ferry to Craignure then local bus/taxi to Tobermory.
