How to Get to Testour
Testour (Béja Governorate) is best reached from Tunis-Carthage (TUN) by road. Take an intercity coach or shared louage to Béja and then a short local transfer to Testour - buses and shared taxis are the common options.
Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN): The main international airport for northern Tunisia. From TUN you can travel west toward Béja and Testour by bus, louage (shared taxi) or private car. Airport → Tunis city transfers take about 20-30 minutes by road (low‑cost bus and taxi options exist).
Sidi Ahmed / Regional airfields: There are no closer international airports to Testour; domestic air services are limited and not generally used for this short domestic transfer.
Train: The Tunis-Béja line exists historically but many services have been reduced; rail is not the common option for reaching Testour.
Bus / Louage: The practical public routes are intercity buses and louages. From Tunis you can take a louage or intercity bus to Béja (about 1-1.5 hours), then a short local taxi or bus to Testour (10-20 minutes). Louage fares are cheap (a few Tunisian dinars); CTN or private coaches running to Béja are more comfortable and slightly more expensive.
