Ta-an Forest Park

Ta-an Forest Park (commonly known as Da’an Forest Park) is a large urban park in the Da’an District of Taipei, Taiwan. It opened in the 1990s and serves as a major green space in central Taipei.

The park features wide lawns, walking paths, a central pond, a children’s playground and areas for birdwatching, providing recreational space for runners, families and office workers. It functions as an urban retreat and is commonly used for exercise and leisure.

The park was created as part of Taipei’s urban planning to provide public green space and has been managed as a municipal park since its opening. Facilities and landscaping have been developed to support everyday recreational use and community events.

Ta-an Forest Park is located in central Taipei’s Da’an District and is easily reached from the city’s metro network. It sits within the city’s urban grid and is surrounded by residential and commercial neighbourhoods.
