The Taipei Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in Taiwan and the primary religious and community centre for many of the island’s Muslims. It stands in Taipei City and functions as an administrative and cultural focal point for Islamic life in Taiwan.

The mosque contains a main prayer hall and ancillary spaces used for religious services, classes and community gatherings. Visitors come to attend prayers, observe Islamic architecture and access informational resources about Islam in Taiwan.

The mosque was established in the mid-20th century as Taiwan’s Muslim community grew and organized a central place of worship and administration. It has since remained the principal mosque in the territory and is closely associated with the Chinese Muslim Association.
