Szentendre Island (Szentendrei-sziget) is an island in the Danube River in Hungary, named after the nearby town of Szentendre. It is a river island used for agriculture and recreational purposes.

How to Get to Szentendre Island

Take the HÉV suburban train from Batthyány tér (Budapest) to Szentendre (line H5). From the Szentendre town center, seasonal public boats cross to the island; in summer small private ferries and local boat operators run frequent services. Walking from Szentendre’s center to the landing takes 5-10 minutes.
