Sydney Tower is the tallest structure in the Sydney skyline and features an observation deck and dining facilities near the top of the tower. It is a prominent landmark in the central business district and offers panoramic views over the city and harbour.

The main attractions are the enclosed viewing platforms that provide 360-degree sightlines and a rotating restaurant that serves seated guests while offering changing vistas. The tower is used for sightseeing, dining and occasional special events.

The tower is sited in Sydney’s CBD, close to Pitt Street and Market Street, within walking distance of other central city attractions and shopping precincts.

Sydney Tower is in the CBD above Pitt Street Mall and Westfield Sydney. From Town Hall or Martin Place stations it is an easy 5-10 minute walk; the tower is also served by numerous bus routes through the city center. Enter via the shopping centre for elevators to the observation levels.

• Book the Skywalk or SKYWALK ticket in advance to secure a sunset timeslot - views at dusk are phenomenal but slots sell out for evenings.
• Skip the highest-price combination packages unless they include dinner: the observation deck's views are the main draw; dining options often carry a premium.
• Take the elevator to the observation level early in the morning for clearer air and fewer reflections on the glass.
