How to Get to Svaneti Range #
From Zugdidi or Kutaisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Mestia (road Mestia-Zugdidi). The drive from Zugdidi takes about 3-4 hours on mountain roads. Ushguli is an additional 2-3 hours from Mestia via rough 4x4 tracks; many visitors hire drivers or guides in Mestia.
