The airport uses more than one terminal to separate flight operations; terminals handle different airlines and flight schedules so check your boarding pass and airport signage on arrival. The layout places check‑in, security and gates within each terminal building with airside retail and dining on departure levels. Transfers between terminals are signposted and can require a short shuttle or walkway depending on the terminal pairing.

Travel time to central Wuxi or nearby cities varies but is commonly in the 30-45 minute range by road depending on traffic and which city you are heading to.

• Bus: Airport buses and intercity coach services connect the airport with Wuxi, Suzhou and neighbouring cities; they are economical for travellers without heavy luggage.
• Taxi: Taxis and app‑based car services operate from outside arrivals and provide direct transfers to city destinations.
• Ride‑share: App services operate in the region; check local apps for availability.
• Driving: Car hire is available at the airport; parking is provided but can be busy during peak periods.

The airport offers a selection of restaurants, cafés and retail outlets in landside and airside areas, plus duty‑free on international departures. Free Wi‑Fi is commonly provided in Chinese airports though registration may be required; charging stations are available in public seating areas. Lounges for airlines and pay‑in access exist in the terminals. Luggage storage and shower facilities may be available - check the airport website or information desk for exact locations. Accessibility assistance is provided on request.

There are multiple hotels near the airport and in Wuxi and Suzhou that cater to transit and business travellers; many hotels offer shuttle service to the airport. For branded options search parent sites such as [marriott.com] or [accor.com] to find properties with airport connections. Day‑use rooms and airport‑area hotels are convenient for short layovers.
