Suan Luang Rama IX is a large public park in Bangkok, Thailand, named in honor of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and created as a commemorative project inaugurated in 1987. It combines ornamental gardens, a large central lake and organized green spaces.

The park contains a botanical garden, formal rose gardens, walking and jogging paths and a sizeable central lake used for boating and leisure. Seasonal flower displays and an annual flower festival draw many visitors for horticultural exhibits and photography.

Established as a commemorative park for King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 60th birthday in 1987, the site has been developed as a city green space and botanical collection. Management has focused on horticulture, public recreation and events since its opening.

Situated in the Suan Luang district of Bangkok, the park lies to the southeast of the city center and is accessible from major city arteries. It functions as an urban green lung within Bangkok’s metropolitan area.
