Tips for Visiting Strömsholm Palace #
- Visit on a weekday in spring or early summer to see the riding school in full rehearsal-equestrian exercises often happen mid-morning.
- Enter the park from the Visitor Centre side (parking south of the palace) to avoid the narrow approach road and get a better view of the formal gardens.
- Look for the wear patterns on the stone threshold by the main ceremonial hall; locals point them out as the place where riders used to dismount before court functions.
- Combine a visit with the nearby Strömsholm Riding School (Ridcenter) schedule-some public demonstrations are ticketed separately.
