Stadio Friuli Stadium

Stadio Friuli is the principal football stadium in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, historically the home ground of Udinese Calcio. The arena was extensively redeveloped and modernised in the 2010s and continues to serve as the club’s match venue.

The redevelopment updated spectator facilities, corporate areas and stands to contemporary standards while retaining the stadium’s role as a local sporting centre. It hosts Serie A fixtures and other events tied to the club’s schedule.

The original stadium dates from the latter part of the 20th century; the recent reconstruction focused on improving sightlines and amenities and on creating a compact, all-seated bowl.

Located in the northern Italian city of Udine, the stadium sits close to the urban area and is accessible from the city by local roads and public transport links.
