From Beirut you travel down the coast and inland by road to Srifa (in the South Governorate); the drive typically takes 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Taxis, private transfers and buses operate from the airport to southern destinations.

Smaller airfields: There are no regularly scheduled commercial flights closer than BEY for most international visitors to southern Lebanon.

By Train & Bus

Train: Lebanon has no functioning nationwide passenger rail service for civilian intercity travel, so rail is not a practical option for reaching Srifa.

Bus / Service taxi: Buses and service taxis (shared vans) operate from Beirut and Sidon toward the south; local service connects towns within the South Governorate. Travel times vary with traffic; fares are inexpensive and paid in LBP or USD.
