How to Get to Speos Artemidos #
Speos Artemidos lies near the village of Beni Hasan, roughly 20 km south of Minya city. Access is by road; from Minya take the Cairo-Luxor route (Nile’s east bank roads) and follow local signs or GPS to Beni Hasan. Local taxis and hired drivers from Minya or Beni Hasan can reach the site in under an hour.

- Bring a hat and plenty of water; little shade at the rock-cut shrine.

Speos Artemidos is a small rock-cut chapel commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut to the goddess Pakhet, located near Beni Hasan in Middle Egypt. The cave-chapel contains reliefs and a famous inscription by Hatshepsut.
