South Bend Travel Guide

South Bend is located in St Joseph County, Indiana, along the St Joseph River and is the state’s fourth biggest city. It is the cultural and economic center of the area commonly known as Michiana, a portmanteau word of Michigan and Indiana. This destination features a number of tourist attractions, museums, parks, nature centers and the University of Notre Dame.

Visitors to South Bend are drawn to several attractions such as the Century Center, the East Race Waterway, Healthworks! Kids’ Museum, the Northern Indiana Center for History and the Snite Museum of Art. The city is also home to the Studebaker National Museum and the College Football Hall of Fame.
