The Soltaniyeh Dome is the mausoleum complex situated in Soltaniyeh, Zanjan province, Iran, built in the early 14th century for the Ilkhanid ruler Öljeitü. It is particularly notable for its large brick dome and innovative structural design and is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visitors see an octagonal base supporting a monumental double-shelled dome, extensive brickwork and remnants of decorative tile and mosaic. The building is recognised for its scale and for influencing later dome construction in the region.
Constructed during the Ilkhanid period in the early 1300s as a funerary monument, the complex has been conserved and studied as an important example of Persian-Islamic architecture. It stands in the town of Soltaniyeh and remains one of the most important medieval monuments in northwestern Iran.

The site is accessible by road from the city of Zanjan - roughly a 35-45 km drive west of Zanjan (about 40 minutes by car depending on traffic) on regional roads; there are also intercity buses and taxis from Zanjan to Soltaniyeh. Once in the town, the mausoleum is within a short walk (under 1 km) from the local bus/taxi stops in the town centre.
