Solesmes Abbey

Solesmes Abbey (Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Solesmes) is a Benedictine monastery in the village of Solesmes in the Sarthe department of Pays de la Loire, western France. It is notable for its role in the 19th-century Benedictine revival and for scholarship and practice of Gregorian chant.
