Soestdijk Palace

Soestdijk Palace is a former royal palace in Baarn in the Dutch province of Utrecht that served as a principal residence of the Dutch royal family in the 20th century.

The estate comprises the palace building and surrounding parkland; guided tours focus on the main state rooms, historic interiors, and the landscaped grounds. The site is visited for its architecture and its role in modern Dutch royal history rather than as a large public museum complex.

Originally built as a hunting lodge and expanded over several centuries, the estate became associated with the House of Orange and was a royal residence from the 19th century onward.
