Siberut is the largest of the Mentawai Islands, located off the west coast of Sumatra and administered as part of West Sumatra province, Indonesia. The island is known for its intact rainforest, endemic wildlife and the indigenous Mentawai culture.

How to Get to Siberut #
Siberut is reached from Padang (West Sumatra). There is limited air service to nearby islands on occasion; most visitors travel by sea and then use local boats to reach villages.
