Si Satchanalai Historical Park preserves the ruins of a major second city of the Sukhothai Kingdom in northern central Thailand, with remains dating mainly from the 13th to 15th centuries. The park contains temples, stupas, city walls and moats spaced along the Yom River floodplain.

What to See #
- Main ruin zone: A concentration of ruined temples, chedis and ordination halls from the Sukhothai period, many set within moats and parks and laid out along the Yom River floodplain.

How to Get to Si Satchanalai Historical Park #
Si Satchanalai is about 60-70 km north of Sukhothai city center and roughly 50 km from Phitsanulok. Buses and minivans run from Sukhothai and Phitsanulok to Sawankhalok; from Sawankhalok the park is a short taxi or bicycle ride.
