How to Get to Si Nan National Park #
Si Nan National Park is accessed from Nan town via provincial roads; expect a 1-2 hour drive depending on which entrance is used. Buses and vans connect Nan with small district centers; from there, local transport or hired motorbike taxis reach the park gates.
Tips for Visiting Si Nan National Park #
- If aiming for the higher-elevation trails, carry a torch and plan to start before noon-some trails can be muddy and overgrown.
- Visit the park office in the nearby district (Nan province) for updated trail maps and to register-some areas require permits.
- Bring binoculars for birding: hornbills and other montane species can be spotted on early-morning walks.
