Shun Hing Square, often called the Diwang Building, is a prominent high-rise skyscraper in the Luohu district of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It was completed in the 1990s and is a landmark in Shenzhen’s early high-rise skyline.
The tower contains offices, retail spaces and public-access floors including an upper-level observation area that offers city views. Its central urban location places it among major commercial streets and transport nodes.
Constructed during Shenzhen’s rapid expansion in the 1990s, the building formed part of the city’s emergence as a major commercial centre and a skyline-defining structure for that era. It remains a well-known reference point in the Luohu district.

How to Get to Shun Hing Square #
Shun Hing Square (Diwang Building) is in Shenzhen’s Luohu district. Take the Shenzhen Metro to Laojie station (Lines 1 and 3) - the skyscraper is a few minutes’ walk from the station exits and sits along Shennan East Road in the commercial heart of Luohu. From Shenzhen Bao’an Airport you can drive via the city expressways toward Luohu (roughly 30-45 km depending on route) or use metro connections into central Luohu.
Tips for Visiting Shun Hing Square #
- Use Laojie or Shaibu metro stations (Shenzhen Metro) to reach Shun Hing Square quickly-follow the exits toward Luohu commercial district to come up near the building.
- Visit around sunset or after office hours for better city views and fewer daytime office crowds; check ahead whether the tower observation areas are open to the public, as access can change.
- Don't confine yourself to the tower: explore the surrounding Dongmen shopping streets and nearby vantage points across the river for a fuller sense of Shenzhen's urban skyline.
