Access is on foot from valley villages in the Salzburg region. Typical approaches begin from alpine parking areas reached by local roads off the B164 or B311; the trail network connects from villages like Maria Alm and nearby huts. Public transport into the broader Berchtesgaden/Saalfelden area is possible by regional buses and trains, but the last kilometers usually require a walk.
