The arena offers tiered seating with a capacity of roughly 12,000 for sporting events and concerts, configurable for different layouts. Key onsite facilities include a large main bowl used for ice hockey, concerts and exhibitions, corporate boxes and concession areas.
Designed by architect Poul Hultberg and completed in 1971, it was constructed to serve Gothenburg’s growing need for an indoor event facility. Over time the arena has been updated and reconfigured to accommodate modern technical and spectator requirements.
The building sits in central Gothenburg’s Korsvägen area in Västra Götaland County, adjacent to other major venues and within easy public-transport reach of the city centre.

- If you want quieter times in the area, visit the arena concourses before an event starts to browse merchandise and grab food; many people only arrive at showtime and miss this window.
