Sapinuwa is a Late Bronze Age Hittite urban centre in central Anatolia, located in modern Çorum Province. Archaeological work at the site has identified administrative buildings, fortifications and archive deposits containing clay tablets.
Excavations conducted since the late 20th century have recovered cuneiform tablets and architectural remains that indicate Sapinuwa served an administrative and possibly military role within the Hittite polity. The site provides evidence of the bureaucratic and defensive organization of Hittite regional centers.
Sapinuwa lies within the Hittite core region of central Anatolia and is part of the landscape of Bronze Age states that includes other major Hittite sites.

- Allow time with a local archaeologist or guide where possible: Sapinuwa's finds (Hittite administrative archives) are best appreciated alongside museum displays in Çorum or at Hattusa, which many casual visitors skip.
